A New Path

• I now walk a new path, no longer looking for God's wrath! I played the devil's drum, but God changed me from that scum! I can't hold any bitterness or sorrow, but I can look forward to a bright tomorrow! My path may not be seen through another's eye, but praise God, He never said "goodbye!" I was not too smart, until I let Jesus in my heart! I may be old enough to have some rust, but I am clean in His blood and His trust! I don't need any of your dope, because I get high on God's hope! I know my Lord has called me, and I want to be everything He calls me to be! I give Him my burdens by the pound, but His Spirit makes me unbound!
