Such beautiful words,
as we write them down,
as we put all negative thoughts
in the ground!

Together we will pray
for God to open some doors,
and thank Him—
for you are mine,
and I am yours.

Through Him,
we can do what no one else could;
in the bad place called prison,
we will show His good.

So those times
when you want to cry,
just look to the side,
and the sky—

because God and I
are there,
and you should never ask
“why!”
