this symbolic salute
to all our troops

Sometimes we all take
for granted the guarantees
in our constitution and
forget what it takes to be free

And we look over our
men and women who
serve and the heroes
who died so we
can have our American dreams

I hope this small token
of appreciation expresses
all the pride and gratitude
